It’s Katie Porter. Let me cut right to the chase: House Democrats are facing our final End of Quarter Deadline of this election in just 96 hours, and we’re still coming up short of our must-hit goal. Before time runs out, can I count on you to chip in $3 to defend our House Majority?  Look -- I first ran for office to serve my community and create a better future for families all across the country. That’s still what drives me and my House Democratic colleagues to keep up the fight each and every day. But it’s clear House Republicans have a far different agenda. Instead of strengthening our democracy in the wake of an armed insurrection, they’ve doubled down on their loyalty to Donald Trump and his anti-democratic attacks. Instead of helping create a fairer economy that lifts everyone up, they’ve supported tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. And instead of defending a woman’s right to choose, they’ve pushed for a national abortion ban. It’s clear we can’t let Republicans regain power. But Republicans are favored to win control of Congress -- so we need a strong grassroots response to compete with their mega donors.
