Tomorrow: It’s not too late to join MoveOn’s Progressive Power Summit

Join us tomorrow for Day 2 of the Progressive Power Summit. The first day of the summit was a huge success and we know you won't want to miss out on the upcoming sessions this weekend.

Dear MoveOn member,

We are fired up after the first day of our Progressive Power Summit, where we came together to activate our collective people power! Over 750 MoveOn members gathered to strategize how we can take advantage of the historic opportunities presented by the new governing majority to build our power and collectively advance our freedom.

One of our attendees, Cade, who is an 18-year-old MoveOn member from a red district in Minnesota, said, "I loved listening to some of the breakout rooms, and I really loved the storytime booth. I loved hearing people's stories, experiences, their conversations, and their feedback.… It was a great day, and I'm looking forward to tomorrow!"

You can join us too: Sign up to attend the summit tomorrow and Sunday!

Curious what you missed today? Here are some highlights:

  • Intergenerational Organizing: The amazing Keron Blair, longtime progressive organizer and leader, shared about the powerful history of organizing in the United States and how we can be empowered by the different perspectives across age to continue organizing successfully.
  • Relational Organizing: Over 130 MoveOn members joined Alfredo Hernandez and Marisa Kanof of VoteTripling.org to discuss the power of relational organizing and how we can leverage our personal relationships to elect progressives up and down the ballot in 2022.

The Progressive Power Summit is about coming together to learn from one another so that we can strengthen our movement, build long-lasting relationships, and continue to fight for a better society, a more inclusive future, and a world marked by equity, sustainability, justice, and love. We hope to see you there.

Thanks for all you do.

Chris, Sonia, Saskia, Gabi, and the rest of the team
