We need to stop Louis DeJoy before he does any more damage. Sign the petition and tell the Senate to save the postal service! Louis DeJoy is still in charge of the U.S. Postal Service -- and he just announced plans to cause even further damage to the mail. This week DeJoy announced plans to slow down the delivery of first class mail, reduce post office hours, and raise prices. He literally wants you to pay more for worse service. DeJoy must go. President Biden can't fire him directly. But the postal service's Board of Governors can. Biden announced nominations of people to the Postal Board of Governors who just might do it. Now, we need the Senate to confirm them and begin to reverse the damage Trump and DeJoy have done. Sign the petition: Tell the Senate to confirm Biden's postal nominees and save the postal service! Throughout the pandemic, postal workers have been among the most essential employees―working tirelessly to deliver medication, ballots, letters, and checks. But the leadership of the USPS slowed the mail during the election, and postal workers and the essential mail service we all rely on suffered badly. Now DeJoy wants to make the damage permanent. Instead, we need to get him out of office and replace him with a leader who will save the postal service. Fortunately, President Biden has stepped up with nominations to the Postal Board of Governors who can fire DeJoy and deliver leadership that believes in the simple, universal promise of the postal service. But the Senate has to act to confirm them, and there's no time to lose. Can you help? Add your name: Tell the Senate to confirm people to the Postal Board of Governors who want to save the postal service! Thanks, Team Progress |
