The IRS spends more time auditing the poor than the rich. This is unacceptable -- and it must change. In 2010 he claimed a $72 million tax refund. The IRS began auditing that refund in 2011, but they have not yet finished that work -- in part because the IRS isn't funded to take on Trump's army of lawyers. Although Trump is under audit, many other wealthy Americans aren't. Neither are major companies. In 2018 Amazon paid no federal income taxes, and instead received a $129 million tax rebate. Yet many Americans routinely pay a lot more in federal income taxes every year than Trump or Amazon, and still get audited. Congress rigged the system against working people to benefit the rich and powerful. It's time for Congress to reverse that and stop letting Trump and wealthy people get away with not paying what they should be in taxes. Will you help?
