UPDATE: The New York Times and CNN are reporting that Donald Trump is planning to nominate Amy Coney Barrett, a hard-right, hyper-partisan judge, to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg, before Ginsburg has even been buried. Trump has publicly stated that he wants Barrett confirmed before the election to resolve voter suppression disputes in his favor. There's no time for business as usual--Democrats must SHUT DOWN THE SENATE and STOP AMY CONEY BARRETT. We honor her forty years of pathbreaking service on the federal bench, including 27 years on the Supreme Court. Her dying wish was that her replacement not be confirmed until a new president has been installed. Mitch McConnell just said he will not respect that wish and will instead hold a vote on Trump's nominee. But Senate Democrats have the power to stop them and save the Supreme Court.
