I can’t overstate the urgency

You’ve heard me say President Trump is the worst president in modern history. I stand by that, and I’ll add this: His conduct in office threatens the fabric of our democracy. Somehow in his eleven months in office, he’s aligned himself with accused sexual predators, white nationalists, and brutal dictators. He’s made a mockery of our judicial system, attacked the free press, and urged the Justice Department to prosecute his political opponents. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it should disturb every American.  A Democratic House is no longer just on my wish list. It’s a necessity for the safety and wellbeing of our country and our democracy.
