They must never be forgotten

Stand with spouses who should never feel alone in their grief and healing. ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏    ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏    ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏

WE WILL NOT FORGET

Show your support for the
spouses of fallen service members

Dear USO Supporter,

April 5 is Gold Star Spouses Day, a day to pause and think of the loved ones who received the news no one wants to receive — their spouse lost their life in the line of duty. I know it all too well. My husband and high school sweetheart, Paul, was killed at the height of the war in Afghanistan.

The Gold Star is a symbol most people hope they never have to understand. For Gold Star spouses, it represents both the ultimate sacrifice of our spouse and the profound grief and ongoing healing that follows.

Sadly, many lost their lives and didn't receive the recognition they deserved. However, the military community has always stood with me in remembrance and honor. It is important to me that people never forget about Paul and the sacrifices he made.

Service members put their lives on the line for our country. Their heroism and courage should never be forgotten. Showing compassionate support for military families means so much — I hope you will sign the USO's card to honor our fallen heroes, Gold Star spouses and all who serve.

We know we can never replace your spouse, who gave their life in service to our country. We honor them, and you, for their ultimate sacrifice. With gratitude, [your name]. PLEASE SIGN THE CARD button.

Will you add your name to the USO's card to honor Gold Star spouses and remind them they are seen, remembered and not alone?

Thank you for your support. It truly means the world to people like me.

With gratitude,

Sarah Morgan
Gold Star Spouse
