The extremist majority on the Supreme Court has given ICE a green light to racially profile.
With this ruling, SCOTUS has created a two-tiered system of justice, where non-white people have to carry their birth certificates or proof of citizenship wherever they go, while white people can go about their business with the presumption of innocence.
SCOTUS needs to hear from us, Pamela. They're not immune to public pressure, so tell them today that racial profiling is unconstitutional and it must be stopped now.
Our country is made great by the people who come here. No matter where someone is from, they're in the United States to make a better life for themselves and their loved ones. Even Ronald Reagan said "...anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become American."
But according to SCOTUS, if you're not white, you're automatically not from the United States. Now that the door is open to even more racial profiling, what's next? Where people can sit on public transportation? What water fountains we use? This sets a very dangerous precedent.
We need to tell SCOTUS their recent ruling is unacceptable. Tell them you disagree with their ruling and that racial profiling is unconstitutional.
In solidarity,
