Day after day, Donald Trump is pushing an agenda that raises costs for American families -- and makes life harder for all of us. At Climate Power, it's our goal to make sure everyone knows it.
So last week, we launched an ad that tells this story. But something happened that we didn't expect: When we submitted this advertisement to run on Fox News Network, they refused to air it.
Now, you might think that this sort of thing happens all the time with that particular TV network, but it does not. We had never seen this kind of thing before -- until we tried to broadcast a message that might make Donald Trump a little uncomfortable. This is a targeted and baseless refusal to air an ad they apparently don't like.
Now, we need your help to spread this message across the country. If Fox News Network doesn't want people to see our newest ad, we need to make sure it finds the biggest audience we can. Donate now to help us.
Trump ran on a promise to bring down costs. On the campaign trail, he said he would cut energy prices in half more than four dozen times. When asked by reporters, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, "He will deliver."
But this month, Trump signed legislation that will jack up energy bills, destroy clean energy jobs, and sell out communities all across the country.
Of course, Fox News Network apparently doesn't want the American people to know this. So, it's our job to make sure they do.
Contribute now to help us get this message out as far as we can, remind Fox News Network that it's still the truth, even if they don't like it, and help us to continue to engage in our work across the country.
