We wish we had better news to share, Pamela: Win Without War is under attack.
Over the past few months, cybercriminals have targeted us with significant attempts to compromise our digital infrastructure and shut us down — and they show no signs of slowing down.
Our staff are fighting fires on all fronts, now scrambling to strengthen our security while continuing our critical campaigns to prevent war with Iran, defend immigrant communities being targeted by ICE, secure lasting peace in Israel, Palestine, and beyond, and fight back against Trump's march toward authoritarianism.
We already spend thousands each year to maintain our digital infrastructure, and now security experts are recommending we TRIPLE that. An increase like this was not in our budget, but we're ready to do whatever is necessary to protect all of us and keep up our critical work uninterrupted.

Security experts have confirmed that these attacks have not penetrated our secure network or accessed any personal information. In the last 30 days alone, our security system has blocked thousands of attacks. However, DDOS attacks originating from Singapore, Seychelles, India, and beyond have successfully taken down our website no less than a DOZEN times this year by flooding our site with traffic, causing it to crash — and the attacks keep coming.
Unfortunately, our impactful work makes us a target. By targeting our digital infrastructure, these groups are trying to cut off our ability to communicate, educate, and mobilize tens of thousands of activists every single week.
But, Pamela, we refuse to be silenced — and we couldn't take a bold stance like this without activists like you backing us up.
Our team is in an all-out sprint to respond, while following every security protocol to the letter to protect our work and your information. The costs of doing this right will add up quickly and the simple truth is that has consequences for our work — particularly as our small team is already in a 24/7 effort to counter Trump's authoritarian actions at home and abroad.
The good news? Your donations are secure. We use a third party platform, ActBlue, to process donations which is independent from the digital infrastructure that has come under attack this year. Donor data is NOT stored on the platforms these hackers have targeted. ActBlue processes donations securely and donating to links in these emails remains a safe, effective way to support Win Without War as we weather these attacks.
Thank you for all you do for this work, for our organization, and to build a safer, more peaceful world,
The Win Without War team
