| Petition to the U.S. House: We urge you to support Rep. Pramila Jayapal's resolution urging the White House to use all the diplomatic tools at its disposal to ensure humanitarian aid reaches Palestinians in Gaza. |
The Israeli army is killing Gazans as they visit humanitarian aid sites to obtain food that millions of Palestinians desperately need.
Israel's aid blockades and violence have kept 2.3 million Gazans from the food and water they need to survive. The United Nations said these are Israel's "deliberate choices" to deprive Palestinians of aid. A spokesperson for UNICEF expressed "shock" at the level of malnutrition Gazans are suffering. This humanitarian crisis has been supported every step of the way by American policy choices.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal introduced a resolution yesterday calling on the White House to stop this humanitarian disaster. The resolution has 92 co-sponsors but we need more — America must use its power to end the crisis and ensure Palestinians can access food, water, and medical supplies.

Rep. Jayapal said, "Innocent civilian lives — children and babies — can be saved by ensuring that much-needed aid gets to Gazans. This humanitarian crisis is man-made and can be solved by allowing aid trucks to enter Gaza. Every diplomatic tool in our toolbox must be used to ensure that this happens."
Netanyahu and Trump have made it clear that their goal is the complete and total destruction of Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Ending the humanitarian disaster is a critical step to save lives in Gaza.
The UN's aid chief described the "horrifying scenes" of Palestinians being killed by Israeli forces at aid sites. Congress must act now to get food and water to Gazans.
