Elon Musk and Trump are recklessly gutting federal agencies and firing federal workers at the EPA, IRS, CFPB, Treasury Department, and beyond.
These drastic, haphazard firings are threatening lives, social services, the environment, consumer protections, public education, and national security. Social Security benefit payments and Medicare enrollments could be disrupted. Who's actually benefitting from this all? Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, corporate executives, fossil fuel companies and predatory financial firms.
Trump even fired hundreds of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) workers AFTER recent devastating plane crashes in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. Congress must exercise its power over the executive branch to protect workers and our government immediately.
