Pamela,
Election Day for the 2024 General Election is Tuesday, November 5, but the last day to register to vote is Monday, October 7.
Floridians can use the statewide Online Voter Registration system to check their registration status and register or update if needed >>
Remember, Pamela, registering after October 7 will NOT take effect in time for November's Presidential election.
If you check your voter registration status and it says you are "inactive," don't worry! Inactive voters are still eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election. In fact, voting or requesting a vote-by-mail ballot will make your status active again.
If you're planning on voting in person, make sure you have a plan to vote — including thinking through where your Election Day polling location or nearest Early Voting location is, what ID you need to bring with you, how you're planning on getting there, and what will be appearing on your ballot that you might want to vote for.
All counties in Florida will have Early Voting from October 26 to November 2, and some counties will have Early Voting starting as early as October 21 and going until November 3. Check your county Supervisor of Elections website for information about Early Voting in your county.
We're encouraging everyone to vote early in-person or by-mail this year if they can. But if you decide to vote in-person on Election Day, remember that your polling location may have changed as a result of redistricting. It's more important than ever to check your Election Day polling location and make sure you know where you're voting this year. Use our tool to find your Election Day polling location.
Help our democracy further by forwarding this email to at least three friends or family members, and encouraging them to check their registration by October 7. Personal outreach from friends is the best way to encourage someone to vote.
Thanks for your ongoing dedication,
Amy Keith, Executive Director
