It's Sherrod Brown and I need to personally ask for your help: We just fell short of our mid-month fundraising goal, and we need to get back on track ASAP.
It's never good to miss a goal, but this is a particularly bad time. The GOP is spending recording-breaking amounts to flood the airwaves with attack ads against me because they know this race will decide Senate control — and I just heard from my team that we could be outspent and drowned out.
It might be hard to believe, but the resources we raise now — not in November — will have the biggest impact on our ability to win this race. That's why hitting our fundraising goal is so important, and why falling short would be so costly.
I'm personally asking: Will you rush $10, or anything at all, to help me win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue?
Please, chip in now to my campaign and Bob Casey's to help us make up our budget gap and defend this battleground seat and keep the Senate blue.
Thank you,
