Friend, I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve the great state of Ohio and fight for you in the Senate.

I believe with all my heart that when you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work, and that's what I'm doing every day. But I need your help to keep it up.

My opponent is a close Donald Trump ally who doesn't believe in the minimum wage and wants to pass a national abortion ban. He'd be downright dangerous in the Senate, and to make matters even scarier, losing here in Ohio could cost us our Senate majority.

Unfortunately, he's also a multimillionaire who's already poured $4.5 million of his personal fortune into this race. I simply don't have that kind of money, which is why I'm asking: Will you chip in $5 or more today to help me compete with my self-funding opponent, protect Ohio's critical seat, and keep the Senate blue?

With Senate control on the line, experts at NBC News are predicting this could be one of the "nastiest and most expensive" races in the entire country, friend. Mitch McConnell has personally named me a top target for defeat, and super PACs aligned with him just made their largest ad reservation EVER to try and defeat me.

As you can imagine, we have some pretty ambitious fundraising goals to make sure we're ready to fight back against everything they throw at us. TV ads, digital outreach, phone calls to voters all across Ohio – all that adds up, and I'm counting on your grassroots support to make sure we have the resources we need.

I need to raise another $50,000 by midnight tonight to stay on track to reach our April goal, so please: Will you give $5, $25, or anything at all to help me defeat my MAGA opponent and keep fighting for the Dignity of Work in the Senate? Every dollar makes a critical difference to our grassroots movement and is so, so appreciated.

A big campaign like this is truly a team effort. Winning will take all of us, but together, I know we can do it.
