| Pamela, Trader Joe's expanded its market share by posing as a progressive and employee-friendly company. But ever since its employees formed a union, TJ's has revealed itself to be as bloodlessly capitalist as any other multinational corporation. It's time to challenge Trader Joe's to live up to its image by proving they're not engaging in union-busting tactics. If they have nothing to hide, they should have no problem opening their books. Tell Trader Joe's leadership: Open your books and prove you're not behind union-busting campaigns! Trader Joe's United, the independent union of Trader Joe's crew members, has set up a simple site to deliver messages straight to Trader Joe's CEO and Director of US Stores. We need to have their backs because this is an existential threat to the union. At the very first store where Trader Joe's employees won a union, corporate has spent the last year selectively hiring and firing staff on the basis of union support. Now, a few anti-union employees announced a campaign to decertify the union―and they appear to have the support of a notorious union-busting consulting firm. Consultants don't work for free.
