Worse still, the floods killed livestock they depended on for food and to earn a living: a buffalo, two cows, a few goats and several chickens. The local school in her village was completely destroyed, too, threatening Nafeesa’s education. But thanks to support from champions for children like you, we were able to establish a Temporary Learning Center in Nafeesa’s village where she and her peers can continue their education and receive vital mental health support.
