Hi there, friend. When my wife, Connie, says it's time for a haircut, I head on down to Carlo's Barber Shop in Cleveland. When it looks like it is time for a trim, I figure there is a pretty good chance it's about time I reach out to you, too.

Experts say I'm one of the most vulnerable senators in the country, and Washington Republicans are already launching attack ads to defeat me. They know this race could be decided by a hair – and that it could even determine control of the Senate.

So, with polls showing me neck and neck with my potential GOP opponents, I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to help me fight back. I need to raise another $25,000 before my midnight deadline, which is why I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or more now to help me win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue?
