The news out of Hawaii keeps getting worse. Wildfires are burning, and thousands of people have been evacuated from Maui. Much of the western part of the island is without electricity and cell phone service.

The U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Hawaii National Guard troops have all been activated in response to devastating wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui, which have killed 55 people as of Friday morning.

As our troops work around the clock to coordinate search and rescue operations, evacuations and other lifesaving response and recovery efforts, the USO relies on patriotic Americans like you to help support them at this critical moment and into the future.

Will you rush $29 or more to help ensure our troops have the support they need as they respond to emergencies like this one?*

The USO has seven locations in Hawaii, through which we support over 200,000 service members and military family members stationed there. But everything we do is only possible because of generous military supporters like you, and we need your help now.

In moments of emergency, it’s more important than ever to be there for our troops with essential supplies, connections to home and space to unwind. So please, rush every dollar you can spare to support our heroes around the globe.

We will continue to keep you updated as this ongoing emergency develops. Please keep our troops and all who are affected in your thoughts.

Thank you,

The USO
