| To: kmyers209.shamrock5@blogger.com From: Charley Oldaker, Associate Director of Research Subject: Special Elections – New Hampshire Over the next few months, this team has some major work to do in order to secure a Democratic majority in the New Hampshire House. Right now, there are two special elections on the books, with more likely to follow. The outcome of these races could make or break our chances of flipping the chamber this year. Republicans control the House with just a three-seat margin but Democrats are within striking distance of taking control. A key part of my job as the DLCC's Associate Director of Research is making sure our candidates have the resources they need to stay competitive in races like these. My team works around the clock fact-checking Republican extremists, tracking relevant legislation and digging through voting records, and helping our state-level partners build out a winning strategy. We even devised an innovative approach to gathering high-impact data points to help build a strong foundation ahead of key special elections for seats in the New Hampshire House. It's simple: The more resources we're able to provide to our candidates, the more prepared they are to compete against the GOP's war chest in New Hampshire and beyond. This work is the driving force behind our success in the states, but it takes a full team, time, and funding – grassroots donations help power our work and give our candidates the tools they need to go up against Republican extremists and win. With just a few weeks before our next Election Day in New Hampshire, the research team is pulling out all the stops to turn these races into victories for state Dems. But we need support from grassroots Democrats to fuel this fight. Will you help power our work to elect state Democrats in New Hampshire and beyond? Your gift today could help turn the tide for state Democrats in ultra-competitive elections nationwide. Thank you for your generosity, Charley Oldaker Associate Director of Research Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee DONATE » |
