When the GOP has full supermajorities, it means that they can pass whatever legislation they want – banning books, disenfranchising voters, and outlawing abortion – and Democratic Governors don't have the veto power to stop them. With supermajorities, Republicans don't have to worry about compromise – they have almost unlimited power. These GOP supermajorities are dangerous, and will lead to harmful laws and an erosion of our democracy.
