 Friend, I'm furious. Last week a federal judge invalidated the FDA’s long-standing approval of a safe and effective abortion pill. This means that in a matter of days, these abortion pills could be BANNED in states across the country. Let's be clear about what this is: It is another step by the MAGA Republican Party toward an all-out, nationwide abortion ban. I won't let that happen, friend. That's why I along with Democrats in the Senate just introduced a bill to enshrine abortion rights into federal law, no matter what the MAGA courts say. But with the GOP dead set on banning abortion everywhere, we need your help. If you believe everyone in America should have access to safe, legal abortion, sign your name next to mine right now: More than half of the people in this country who get abortions use the abortion pill this right-wing judge just blocked. This decision will deny them crucial treatment -- even the people who live in states where abortion is still legal. It reveals what we already knew ever since the Supreme Court made the despicable decision to overturn Roe v. Wade: Republicans' assault on reproductive freedom was never about "states' rights." They want to ban abortion in all 50 states, and they are not going to stop until they do. We need to fight back -- now.
