Every Democrat should join the resolution to expel Santos!

Dear MoveOn member,

Last week, a handful of House Democrats filed a resolution to expel Santos from Congress.¹ While two thirds of Congress need to vote to expel him to make it a reality, it's critical that Democrats unite around expelling Santos and hold their Republican colleagues accountable for their inaction. Every Democrat should join this resolution calling for Santos to be expelled. 

Will you take 3 minutes to call Rep. Jamie Raskin to urge him to join the resolution to expel GOP Representative George Santos from office? You can dial 855-971-2501 to be connected directly with your rep. We need every Democrat on board. 

You can say something like: "Hi, my name is ___ and I'm a constituent. I'm calling to ask Rep. Raskin to join the Democrat-led resolution to expel George Santos from Congress. Santos lied to voters and is a danger to our democracy. Please take every action possible to expel him from office." 

George Santos is a MAGA Republican who continues to align himself with far-right Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and others who are hellbent on degrading our democratic institutions and taking away our freedoms. While Republican leadership shields him in order to serve their interests, Democrats are responding and taking action. While you are calling your Democrat representative, MoveOn members are also calling their Republican representatives, urging them to join this resolution to expel Santos. Republicans either need to be pressured into seeking his expulsion, or they, too, need to be held accountable for enabling his lies.

Dial 855-971-2501 to call Rep. Raskin to ask him to take action to expel Santos from Congress! Santos has yet to show any willingness to resign, so Congress must take action! 

Just a few weeks ago, MoveOn members from NY-03 delivered a petition with now almost 115,000 signatures demanding that Santos resign or be expelled from the House of Representatives. Santos fabricated almost every aspect of his life to get elected to advance the MAGA agenda, and MoveOn members across the country have joined together to say enough! Let's keep up the fight together!
