We're building a historic grassroots movement to defeat Greg Abbott and elect Beto as the next Governor of Texas — but we have to be real about the fact that Abbott started this race with a $50 million head start. That's why we have to ask:

FIRST: We won our primary election on March 1, making this race officially Beto vs. Abbott. In response, one of Abbott's strategists told reporters that they plan to spend over $100 million attacking Beto and our people-powered campaign.
THEN: Beto and our team got on the road for a multi-week drive to EVERY part of Texas to meet with, listen to, and learn from folks in their communities because that's how we're going to win — by going everywhere and meeting everyone.
NOW: We're racing to raise $1,200,000 before our big end-of-quarter fundraising deadline on Thursday, and we're currently running behind our projections.
