Getting things done

I hope I can count on you. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
'We need to show Republicans...' - Chuck Schumer

Andra --

When Democrats won the majority in the Senate, everyone had big questions:

"How are they going to get it all done? You've got to confirm the cabinet. You've got to do an impeachment trial and pass the American Rescue Plan."

Well, we have done an impeachment trial. We passed the American Rescue Plan. And with the approval of former Boston Mayor Marty Walsh as our next Labor Secretary, every member of Joe Biden's Cabinet has been confirmed.

This month there were 100 million shots in Americans' arms, and 100 million checks going into Americans' pocketbooks. This is the difference between GOP control of the Senate and Democratic control -- Democrats get things done. But our margin is razor thin, and we can't lose a single seat in 2022 if we want to keep up this progress.

Our first public, FEC end-of-quarter deadline of 2021 is TOMORROW and we'll have the chance to compare ourselves to our GOP opponents when it comes to fundraising numbers. We need a strong showing, and I'm counting on you:

We need to raise $50,000 more by Wednesday at midnight. Will you donate $250 or more right now to defend our Democratic majority? All donations made before the FEC deadline will be TRIPLE-MATCHED, so don't wait:
We need your help to defend and expand our Senate majority. If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.

All our progress we've worked so hard for -- and all our progress on the horizon -- will depend on us keeping control of the Senate. Investing in our majority is investing in the future of this country, and I hope I can count on you.

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
