About 40% of everything we raised last month came through emails like this one.
But last week, we took a necessary break from fundraising for our campaign to raise essential funds for groups providing direct relief in Texas after a series of winter storms left millions in the state without power and water.
We did that because we understood the importance of meeting that moment in whatever ways we could. And that meant raising over $5 million for Texas!
Now, we need to close the gap for our own fundraising before midnight — which will impact our budget moving into March and beyond. However, we've done the math, and if we can get four contributions from your community — we'll be on track to meet our budget.
Every contribution allows us to organize to win policies like the Green New Deal so we can ensure that what happened in Texas doesn't happen again – in Texas or any other state.
