We'll get to the point. We need to catch up on Team AOC fundraising before our final FEC deadline. Here's why:
- We focused on Georgia & COVID: We spent the last two months raising more than $1.2 million directly for folks working in Georgia and relief organizations helping people who are struggling due to the pandemic. As a result, we haven't been able to keep up with our own fundraising goals.
- Facebook and Instagram were banned: Fundraising ads were banned on FB and Insta after the election, putting a major dent in our typical fundraising revenue. These ads usually make up about half our revenue.
- Huge deadline on Dec. 31: The last FEC deadline of the year is in just a couple days. Reporters and potential opponents are going to look closely at how much AOC raises as a sign of whether or not our movement is gaining strength. We need to post a solid fundraising report.
The bottom line is we are way behind on our fundraising before the final FEC deadline. That's why we need your help right now if you can afford to donate.
