| Sign if you agree: "Amy Coney Barrett cannot rule on 2020 election cases. We deserve an impartial Supreme Court." | Friend, Joe Biden won a historic victory, with more votes for President than anyone, ever. But Donald Trump isn't conceding—instead, he's lying from the White House briefing room, whipping up baseless conspiracy theories as a pretext to throw out legitimately cast ballots. And one of his surrogates gave an interview on Fox News saying "Hopefully Amy Coney Barrett will come through." Barrett is hopelessly conflicted. No ruling from her on this election could possibly be considered legitimate—she must recuse herself. Trump is trying to sow doubts on the election right now, because he knows he is about to lose. He only wants to stop counting the votes cast by people struggling to make ends meet, people of color, and of course keep counting others where he thinks people would vote for him. We know he's going to try to take this election to the Supreme Court. It's been Trump's promise all along. He expects the new 6-3 conservative majority on the Court will simply hand him the election. When he announced Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court, he said as much—and Senate Republicans went right along with him.[1] ADD YOUR NAME: Amy Coney Barrett must recuse herself if this election goes to the Supreme Court. She cannot be impartial. It should not go to the Supreme Court, because this election has been fair and the will of the people have spoken clearly and loudly. But if Trump manages to weasel his way in front of the Court, Barrett must step down. It's, in fact, the law—though we can't be sure she knows that when she couldn't even remember the five freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. Federal law says that judges are required to recuse themselves from a case if their "impartiality might reasonably be questioned." Amy Coney Barrett must recuse herself from any case about the 2020 election or she will impugn the integrity of our Supreme Court. Will you sign your name? Let's hope it doesn't get that far. Let's keep counting and get our country back on track.
