But instead of getting his act together and saving American lives, he's panicking and engaging in a coverup. The Trump Administration issued new guidelines for hospitals to report data directly to his Department of Health and Human Services, led by Big Pharma crony Alex Azar, instead of the Center for Disease Control, which makes the numbers public. If Trump wants the numbers to look better, he should fight for a response led by public health. Instead, he's trying to cover up the scale of his failures. We need to FIGHT BACK! This isn't just political. Trump's failures must be known, but more importantly, knowing the depths of the pandemic, particularly their geographic distribution, is key to fighting the pandemic. We need to be able to see the relationships between infection, hospitalization, and deaths, and if there are states and localities that are bending any of those curves.
