Because it would make voting easier for every eligible voter.   Trump likened extended early voting periods and vote-by-mail to “cheating.” He said he refused to let Republicans “lose elections because of that.”    It’s appalling -- and frankly, anti-democratic.    Protecting our right to vote safely at a time like this shouldn’t be a partisan issue, and yet Trump keeps recycling debunked talking points.   It’s outrageous.
