My bill to provide $2,000 a month to Americans

We need bold action, immediately. Friends, Last week, I introduced the Monthly Economic Crisis Support Act to provide $2,000 every month to Americans throughout this crisis. Bills come in every single month during the pandemic and so should help from our government. I've been saying it for months: a one-time payment is not enough when millions of people are unemployed and need to eat. We need bold action, immediately. Which is why Senator Sanders, Senator Markey, and I have come together to try and provide relief to millions of Americans who are struggling to make ends meet during this crisis. There's no doubt this bill will face opposition in Mitch McConnell's Senate, he doesn't want to spend another dime on relief for working Americans.
