I'm not intimidated by Mitch McConnell

Hi friend,

Last month I voted to convict Donald Trump in his impeachment trial. It was a historic decision, and now I'm ready to move on and continue working to heal the partisan divide in our country.

But ever since I took those votes, I've faced a relentless barrage of attacks. And now, after Tuesday’s primary, two extremely divisive Republicans moved one step closer to facing me in November's Senate election: Jeff Sessions and Tommy Tuberville.

They're going to work with Mitch McConnell to try to divide us and tip the scales in their favor, but I've got news for them: I'm not intimidated and I'm prepared to do whatever it takes to win re-election in November.

Please, if you're also ready to do whatever it takes, will you split a donation between my campaign and the DSCC?

Listen, it's no secret what we're up against. My race is one of the most competitive in 2020.

I know we can win, but it's going to take everything we've got. I'm one of Mitch McConnell's top targets, and as you know, no tactics will be off-limits to McConnell and his allies to try and take me down.

But I don't operate that way. We won in Alabama last time by building a coalition of folks who are committed to our common ideals, and that's exactly what we'll have to do to win again -- but I can't do it alone.

Please, if you believe we need to do what's right for America -- not what's right for Mitch McConnell and his allies -- pitch in $5 now. Your donation will be split between my campaign and the DSCC and it will be put to work immediately.

Thank you for your support.

Doug Jones
U.S. Senator, Alabama
