don’t delete (important)

Will you add your name next to mine and condemn Republican attacks on paycheck fairness this Equal Pay Day?
Women deserve equal pay for equal work -- plain and simple.

But President Trump and Congressional Republicans don’t think it’s plain and simple.

That’s why I’m emailing you.

Today is Equal Pay Day -- the day when women finally catch up to men’s salaries from 2O16.

But just last week, President Trump signed an executive order that rolled back President Obama’s vital workplace protections for women. It’s sickening.

I know we’re focused on many issues this year.

But Equal Pay Day gives us a moment to focus on the fight for workplace equality. It’s a strong reminder of how much further we have to go.

Republicans have fought time and time again to roll back women’s rights. They pretend the wage gap doesn’t exist -- that it’s not their problem.

Trump’s latest executive order attacking workplace protection solidified their stance.

So I think it’s up to us.

Grassroots Democrats must make it heard loud and clear:

We won’t give up the fight for equal pay -- not today, not ever.

Will you sign your name and condemn Republicans’ disregard for equal pay?

Thanks,

Nancy
