STUNNING upset
Sign my petition demanding action on gun violence
We can't lose sight of how important this moment is in our history, and how hard we have worked to get here. A little more than one year ago, the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School led millions of people in marches across the country to demand action on gun violence. And throughout 2018, people in communities across our nation registered voters, knocked on doors, and organized to elect leaders who are willing to stand up to the gun lobby and do what's right. Last week, new members of Congress like Rep. Lucy McBath -- who became an activist for social justice after her son was shot and killed -- voted to pass the first significant legislation on gun violence in 20 years. This is a great step forward. When we work together, arm in arm, to organize and raise our voices to demand action, we can win. But our fight is not yet done. I need you to add your voice right now: Sign now if you agree: Congress should act swiftly to pass universal background checks »
This is just the first of many fights to come in our work to end gun violence. I know that by working together, organizing on every block in every community of this country, we can take on the gun lobby and win. Thanks for standing with me on this. I'll see you out there. For The People, — Kamala Harris

[Photos] Our YUUUGE events in Brooklyn and Chicago
Sisters and Brothers -
We're going to win this election not because we have a super PAC funded by billionaires. We're going to win this election because we will put together the strongest grassroots coalition in the history of American politics.
That is the message we sent in Brooklyn at our first official campaign event.

And that is the message we sent last night in Chicago at the second rally of our campaign.

While Donald Trump wants to divide us up by the color of our skin, our country of origin, our gender, our religion and our sexual orientation – we are going to do exactly the opposite. We are going to bring our people together – black, white, Latino, Native American, Asian American, gay and straight, young and old, men and women, native born and immigrant.
Because when we do that, we are going to finally create an economy and a government which works for all Americans, and not just the 1 percent.
In solidarity,
Team Bernie

VoteVets is suing the Trump administration
| Activist - P.S. VoteVets is the largest organization of progressive veterans, military family members and their civilian supporters. We run some of the hardest hitting ads out there and last cycle spent more money to elect a Congress that will stand up to Trump than almost any other organization. Join us in this fight to stop Trump’s appointment of shadow rulers to the VA. |

re: EPA Administrator
| Add your name to send a clear message to the Senate GOP that they need to admit climate change is real, finally work to address it, and protect President Obama's environmental legacy: |
![]() |
| Team, Senate Republicans just confirmed a former coal lobbyist to be our next EPA administrator. His name is Andrew Wheeler, and all of our Democratic Senators voted against him because he's deep in the pockets of corporate polluters and could dismantle the crucial environmental safeguards that President Obama -- and this grassroots team -- have fought so hard for. The American people want an EPA administrator who will protect President Obama's environmental legacy -- and not do the oil and gas lobby's bidding. That's why we need to step up right now and send a clear message to the Senate GOP that they need to admit climate change is real, finally work to address it, and protect President Obama's environmental legacy >> The Senate GOP confirming Andrew Wheeler to head the EPA is just the latest example of their putting right-wing corporate interests ahead of the needs of American families. They're so hell-bent on tearing down President Obama's environmental legacy that they confirmed an EPA administrator who will no doubt continue to roll back all of our hard-fought progress on addressing climate change. We can't let Senate Republicans get away with this disastrous confirmation. Add your name if you agree that we need to protect all of the progress we've made to safeguard President Obama's legacy, continue fighting like hell to combat climate change -- and demand the Senate GOP finally step up and work with Democrats to address it >> Thanks for speaking out for our environment, Team DSCC |

Thank You
| Thank you for stepping up and showing that you're in this fight for the long haul. Now will you share your thoughts with us by taking the official 2019 DSCC Priorities Survey? |

| Friend, As Democrats, we are determined to accomplish the change and the new direction that millions across the country voted for in the last election. Together, we can help American families thrive by doing things like protecting our health care and ensuring they have the economic security they deserve. That's why we set an ambitious fundraising goal last month to fight back against Mitch McConnell’s enabling of Donald Trump and everything he’s done to hurt hard-working Americans. We came together to show that we're willing to do whatever it takes to beat McConnell, be one hell of a check on Donald Trump, and elect more Democrats to the Senate. So, friend, thank you. Thank you for stepping up and showing that you're in this fight for the long haul. This grassroots community is helping show Republicans in the Senate what we're capable of. Now, I have another request for you. We're putting together our strategic plan to take back the Senate in 2020, and we need your input. It’s important that we know what issues are most important to you. Will you share your thoughts with us by taking the official 2019 DSCC Priorities Survey today? The strength of our strategic plan will have a huge impact on our ability to succeed this cycle, so we're taking it extremely seriously. And that means reaching out to grassroots Democrats like you to incorporate your ideas and understand what you value most. We want to hear what matters to you and what your ideas are about how we can best support our candidates. And I want you to know that your responses will be read carefully and will be shared directly with our Democratic leaders. Your responses will also directly inform critical strategic decisions like where the DSCC invests our resources. It’s important that we hear from you before we finalize our strategy. So please take our official 2019 DSCC Priorities Survey and share your thoughts on how the DSCC should approach this election cycle: http://www.dscc.org/Take-The-Official-DSCC-Priorities-Survey Thank you for being a part of this community. ¡La lucha sigue! Send a message to Mike Pence
Sisters and Brothers -
Mike Pence attacked our campaign today. By name.
At a conservative conference in Washington, D.C., he attacked Bernie's leadership on Medicare for All and fighting climate change. He said we threatened America's freedom.
Well, here is the truth. Mike Pence is attacking us because he knows what the American people know: our campaign is the strongest and most powerful challenge to Trump's re-election.
And that is because our agenda is one that will unite millions of Americans to defeat them and create a government that works for all people, not just the billionaire class. Our agenda is one that will fight for Medicare for all, jobs for all, college for all, and justice for all.
But Bernie cannot take on the Trump administration and the billionaire class of this country alone. The attacks may be starting immediately, but they will continue throughout the campaign because they are desperate to defeat us.
So today — in Mike Pence's honor — we have to ask:
Trump and Pence have had a bad week. We get it. After the Cohen testimony they are trying to change the subject. But he will never distract us from their disastrous record on health care, the environment and wages.
This administration has done very well for their friends and for big donors, but millions of Americans are desperate for change.
Our campaign is going to provide it.
All our best,
Team Bernie
