85 years of standing with our service members

USO Supporter,

As you read this, American service members are serving around the world — many thousands of miles from home, missing birthdays, anniversaries and the everyday moments we take for granted.

I know what that feels like. I’ve lived it.

And I know how much it matters to have the USO by your side.

For 85 years, the USO has stood with our troops in times of conflict and uncertainty. That promise has only been possible because Americans like you refuse to forget those who serve. From World War II to today, you’ve helped ensure our troops are never truly alone.

But right now, that promise is at risk.

Our service members aren’t just uniforms — they’re sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers. Many are stationed tonight in remote, dangerous places. They’re expected to stay focused and ready — even while carrying the weight of separation from the people they love most.

Your support is what keeps them going.

Because of donors like you, a soldier can step into a USO Center after a long shift, eat a warm meal and hear a familiar voice from back home. A young airman can video call his family. A Marine can sit down, breathe and remember why he serves.

These moments don’t just lift morale. They strengthen resilience. They protect readiness. They remind our troops they are not forgotten.

I know this personally. During my 35 years in the Army, the USO stood beside me, my units and my soldiers through long stretches away from home. That support mattered then — and it matters just as much today.

That’s why I’m asking you to act now.

Right now, more than half of our service members cannot access USO services when they need them most. Every day we wait is another day troops go without critical support. That is a gap we cannot accept.

With your help today, we can expand our reach and deliver the connections, supplies and care our heroes depend on.

Our troops are serving far from home at this very moment. They are counting on the USO.

And the USO is counting on you.

Please give your most generous gift now.

Give today to support our military heroes

After 35 years in uniform — and now as CEO of the USO — I’ve seen the difference your generosity makes. But we cannot reach more service members without immediate action.

This is one of those moments where stepping forward matters.

Our heroes have stepped forward for all of us.

Will you step forward for them today?
