| Pamela, The New York Times is reporting that the Biden administration is pausing their decision on approval of new LNG export facilities, including CP2 to assess climate impacts. This is HUGE news and it's happening because of the immense people power we have shown. With the help of everyday folks speaking out, we've turned stopping LNG exports into what both the Washington Post and New York Times are calling Biden's "next big climate test." That's why it's time to turn up the volume to make sure these projects are stopped once and for all. Sign our petition urging the Biden administration to keep up the fight for our climate by stopping CP2! We are SO CLOSE to stopping one of the largests fossil fuel buildouts in the world. These LNG export facilities poison communities, destroy the local environment, drive up energy prices, and threaten to wreck our climate – all told, the emissions from new LNG exports would be the equivalent of the pollution from 675 coal fired power plants. But LNG exports are worth BILLIONS to the fossil fuel industry and they're fighting with everything they've got. We need to do the same. Add your name right now and let the White House know that it's time to stop this carbon bomb from going off in our communities. In solidarity, Fossil Free Media |
