I took a big risk yesterday... please give a chance to explain.

I made a very difficult decision yesterday.

We had a meeting where it became clear that if we had a bit more money, we could make a real play for additional delegates on Super Tuesday and in the week that follows.

The money wasn't in the budget. But I gave the green light.

It's a risk. We can't get caught flat in the week before Super Tuesday and the big states on March 10.

But the bet I made was that if we asked you'd come through to help fill the gap. I hope that you will — for Bernie. For our movement.

Can you make a $2.70 contribution before our FEC fundraising deadline ends tomorrow to help us fill the budget gap we created going after the delegates needed to ensure Bernie Sanders wins this nomination?

Like I said, it was a tough call. But if there's one thing that distinguishes this campaign from every other, it's the people. You answer the call every single time.
