Paul Ryan just lied:

I just watched Paul Ryan blatantly lie on the House floor.   He blamed DEMOCRATS for this shutdown -- and said we “refused to do our job.”   Protecting millions of children’s health care and DREAMers IS our job. And I refuse to let the Republicans spin this into a smear campaign against Democrats.   We’re launching ads right now to make sure every voter knows that President Trump, Paul Ryan, and Mitch McConnell are to blame for this shutdown.   I need 15,OOO more grassroots Democrats to step up and help fund them before midnight.   This charade should infuriate every American.
