“We’re just gonna kill people.”

Trump is racing down the path toward all-out war. ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏

Pamela, that's Trump's chilling response to questions over his authority to order strikes in Latin America and the Caribbean.[1]

It's a terrifying indication of how close to all-out war Trump is willing to push us — ordering illegal strikes off the coast of Venezuela, deploying warships, aircraft carriers, and nuclear submarines to the Caribbean, and even plotting to send U.S. troops into Mexico — and it's why we HAVE to stop this before it's too late.

That's why Win Without War is working around the clock to throw roadblocks in his way and pull the U.S. back from the brink of an endless war.

When the administration first notified Congress that it struck an alleged drug vessel back in September, a 60-day clock began ticking. Once that clock runs out, the use of military force must end, or get an extension or a war authorization from Congress.

60 days have come and gone with no congressional authorization. Despite this, the Trump administration is only intensifying its bombing campaign in open violation of U.S. law, deepening a campaign of extrajudicial killing that should be raising every alarm bell on Capitol Hill.

But thanks to advocacy from Win Without War, partners, and activists like you, our message of "No War with Venezuela" has filled the halls of Congress, made headlines, and is shaping public opinion.

And with the potential for more strikes, more harm, more suffering, we're not slowing down, not for a second. Actions speak louder than words, and Trump's warmongering — amassing the largest U.S. military presence in the Caribbean since the 1989 invasion of Panama and continuing to bomb boats — is speaking VOLUMES.

It'll take a round-the-clock effort to prevent further U.S. escalation in Latin America. Whether by advocating to the lawmakers with the power to block Trump's warmongering or the servicemembers who may be asked to carry out illegal orders, we have big plans to take this work to the next level. But to do it, we need you with us, Pamela.

Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
