I’m thinking about November 3rd AND November 4th.

Hey Pamela, I’m Josh Peck, Climate Power’s Executive Director.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Election Day, as I’m sure many of you have, too. There’s one question I just can’t shake from my mind when I think about it, though: What do I want to wake up to on November 4th?
Here’s the truth: I’ve been shocked by my own utility bill. By the cost to fill my tank. At my total at the grocery store. By the polluting, power-hungry data centers cropping up in community after community. By the reckless war and violence that seems to only benefit Trump’s Big Oil donors. All of that and more is on the ballot this November.
And when I hear from people watching the chaos, the frustration is familiar: Why is it harder than ever for working families, and what can I actually do about it?
Right now, we’re living with the consequences of the Trump administration’s policies in our daily lives. That’s why Climate Power has been working tirelessly to make this case to voters. Will you help us get through the final push by chipping in $10 or whatever you can?
I want to be clear: A different Congress won’t bring everyone’s bills down overnight. And having the right policies isn’t enough if people don’t understand how those policies would affect their lives.
We have to connect what happens in D.C. to the bills that show up in someone’s mailbox.
When candidates talk about expanding data centers, voters deserve answers about who will pay for the electricity infrastructure they need. When candidates promise lower bills, voters deserve to know whether they’ll support clean energy, energy efficiency, and a stronger grid -- and how they’ll make sure corporations pay their fair share.
When politicians ask for another term, voters deserve to see their records alongside their promises.
That’s Climate Power’s job: We use our research to make those choices clear, reach people with information that matters to them, and make elected officials answer for their decisions.
So, here’s how I want to feel when I wake up on November 4th: I want us to feel proud. Proud to have elected a Congress we can actually push to deliver lower costs, clean air, and an affordable future. I want voters to have heard more than slogans. And I want us to know we did everything we could to make the stakes clear.
Your contribution helps fund the research, digital ads, creator partnerships, and rapid response that gets this message to voters. Will you give today to help us make these final weeks count?
