Send Congress a loud and clear reminder that Hegseth is unfit to lead the Pentagon

We must check an out-of-control official like Hegseth.

Win Without War

"Kill everybody."

Pamela, this was Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's reported order for a September 2 strike, according to a source close to the series of unauthorized bombings in the Caribbean and Pacific.[1] Some would call it a war crime, but a reminder: we are not at war. What Hegseth ordered is simply murder.

Disturbing evidence is emerging that these strikes were both plainly criminal and directed from the very top. Now, powerful members of Congress — from both parties — are demanding answers.

But this order is just the latest move by an out-of-control official who abuses his power, undermines the rule of law, and actively harms communities here and abroad, and answers aren't enough.

Impeachment is how Congress must check Secretary Hegseth's reckless actions and stop him from inflicting future harm. Unfortunately, without pressure from constituents, lawmakers are unlikely to act with the urgency necessary to meet the moment. That's where you come in.

Join us to send a loud and clear reminder that Hegseth remains unfit to lead the Pentagon. Tell Congress: Impeach Pete Hegseth!

ACT NOW

Not even a full year on the job, Hegseth's tenure as head of the Pentagon includes:

  • Removing "roadblocks" from the military by purging judge advocate generals (JAGs), the legal officers who advise commanders on upholding the rule of law
  • Ordering unauthorized airstrikes in Yemen that killed innocent people
  • Endangering troops by sharing sensitive war plans for the Yemen mission in a Signal group chat, where Trump admin officials celebrated the strikes with fist bump emojis
  • Signing off on Marine deployments to suppress protests in Los Angeles — which a federal judge has since ruled illegal
  • Calling a gathering of top generals where Trump touted his "war from within" and affirmed his intentions to use our "cities as training grounds for our military"
  • Conducting nearly two dozen illegal strikes targeting vessels in the Caribbean and Pacific that have killed at least 83 people

We knew Hegseth was unfit to serve during his nomination process, and every day since, he's only proved us right.

While the Armed Services Committees in both chambers investigate Hegseth's blatantly unlawful strikes, this moment demands more immediate action. That's why we're sending a message tens of thousands of people strong, urging Congress to take up impeachment.

Pamela, will you sign on to tell your elected officials to impeach SecDef Hegseth?
