BREAKING: Lawmakers allege war crimes in Trump & Hegseth’s reckless campaign in the Caribbean

Disturbing reporting implicates Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in potential war crimes as part of Trump's illegal bombing campaign off the Latin American coast. These unauthorized strikes amount to murder.[1]

Pamela, with you by our side, Win Without War is creating a clear path to stop them.

As evidence emerges that the criminality of these strikes was directed from the very top, Congress is taking notice. Lawmakers — including Senators Wicker (R-Miss.) and Reed (D-R.I.), the chair and ranking member of the Armed Services Committee — are demanding answers, and it's created an opening to push Congress to end Trump's strikes and block the march toward a war with Venezuela.

We're seizing the moment with a renewed advocacy push on the Hill and launching NEW Know-Your-Rights billboards to connect servicemembers with resources in the event they're given illegal orders.

The truth is, expanding this campaign will take resources that we haven't budgeted for. Fortunately, generous donors are matching the first $15,000 in Giving Tuesday donations, meaning your gift today will have double the impact.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

When six Democratic lawmakers posted a video reminding servicemembers that they should "refuse illegal orders," Trump lashed out, accusing them of "seditious behavior" that's "punishable by death."[2]

They're not the only ones concerned. Shocking reports revealed that the White House ignored a senior military lawyer's concerns about the legality of the strikes.[3] Senator Adam Schiff has also warned servicemembers that, "I would certainly not want to rely on the rationale I've read" to justify the strikes.[4]

But all that was before news broke that Secretary Hegseth gave orders to "kill everybody" in a September 2 strike — a directive that could amount to war crimes.[1] Those reports have pushed powerful Republicans to break ranks with Trump, and created a critical opportunity for us to END this bombing campaign and derail the administration's irresponsible push toward a war with Venezuela.

While we level up our advocacy for action on Capitol Hill to halt the strikes, we're simultaneously racing to meet servicemembers at U.S. Southern Command (the launch point for nearly ALL U.S. forces in Latin America) with the resources they need if they're faced with illegal orders. Reaching our $15,000 Giving Tuesday goal is a crucial next step to make it all happen.

This is how we'll push back on Trump's dangerous authoritarianism and warmongering — by reaching the right people, in the right place, at the right moment. Win Without War was built for it, but seizing it will only work with the buy-in of activists like you.

Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
