Next weekend, MoveOn members are gathering at election parties across the country to write postcards to voters in battleground states! They're gathering because there's so much at stake in this upcoming election—from abortion rights to the future of the Supreme Court—that we need to do everything we can to elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot.

The next president will very likely nominate at least TWO Supreme Court justices.¹ This could determine the control of the court for decades to come. We have the choice to elect Vice President Kamala Harris, who would nominate justices that would protect our rights—or Donald Trump, who is responsible for nominating three-MAGA justices that overturned Roe v. Wade.²

The energy among MoveOn members behind Harris' candidacy has been electric. So much so that instead of the 100 events we were planning, people stepped up to host nearly 200 election postcard parties! Attending a postcard party is the best way you can turn your enthusiasm into action! So, find a public event near you and join us in reaching the voters who will decide this election.

President Biden and Vice President Harris just announced groundbreaking endorsements for Supreme Court reform, including 18-year term limits and bringing an enforceable code of ethics to the court.³ Our current Supreme Court is unaccountable—the justices are unelected, have lifetime appointments, and have no enforceable code of ethics. No one should have unchecked power for life. It's crucial that voters turn out to elect Democrats and bring trust back into the nation's highest court!

MoveOn members overwhelmingly voted to endorse Vice President Harris's 2024 campaign because she has the experience, judgment, and vision to advance our people-first agenda, and she has fired up our members. Now it's up to us to come together and get the job done.
