Make our Weekend of Action a success

Indivisibles,

That had to be one of the most electrifying Democratic National Conventions (DNC) in our lifetime. Michelle Obama, President Biden, Hillary Clinton, Oprah, and Lil Jon?!?!? Who would have guessed we'd be seeing this energy even a month ago?

But more than the glitz, glamor, celebrities, and crowd size jokes (we see you, Barack), this convention was a clear reminder of the stakes of this election: a comprehensive vision of a better future for all Americans vs. MAGA greed, fear-mongering, and divisiveness.

Vice President Harris and Coach Walz present such an inspiring hope for the future that it's near impossible to imagine how they could lose to a lying, cheating, sexual abuser.

But they could. And it's up to us to step up and stop it.

The first presidential debate between Vice President Harris and Donald Trump is just under three weeks away on September 10. Our goal is to continue this momentum and make it so that by the time this debate comes around, it's nothing more than a formality. We need this energy to keep going, and we need to all but guarantee a Harris/Walz victory.

That's why we're holding our Doors2Debate Weekend of Action on September 6-10, challenging our Indivisible network to talk to 100,000 neighbors by the debate on September 10! But you don't need to wait another day to get started -- sign up right now and help us get to our goal before Harris and Trump take the stage on September 10.

Doors to Debate: 100,000 doors by September 10

If we want to secure a trifecta in November to codify reproductive freedom, fix the Court, and institute democracy reform, it's going to take each of us doing our part to ensure that these good vibes translate to votes. We cannot rest on our laurels. We know MAGA will be out in full force to try to complete their takeover of the government.

We also know that our vision, the Kamala/Walz vision, is stronger, more popular, and better prepared to lead our entire country to prosperity.

None of that matters if our communities don't get out and vote.

That's why we created Neighbor2Neighbor -- a simple, neighborhood conversation program to foster a sense of community in your area among pro-democracy neighbors and increase their likelihood of voting.

Take it from AOC's convention speech on Monday:

"When we knock on our neighbors door, organize our communities, and elect Kamala Harris to the presidency on November 5th, we will send a loud message that the people of this nation will not go back. We choose a new path and open the door to a new day. One that is for the people and by the people."

From now through September 10, we need to get everyone involved in converting vibes to votes. Sign up for Neighbor2Neighbor today, and help our Doors2Debate Weekend of Action drive Kamala Harris to the Oval Office.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

P.S. We truly believe that Neighbor2Neighbor can shift the outcome of this election. But running the program everywhere it's needed isn't cheap -- so we rely on grassroots donors to fund this grassroots tool. The more support we get, the more we can scale this program. Please consider chipping in, if you can.
