! Pamela, I'd like to introduce myself to you. My name is Sarah McBride. I serve my home state of Delaware in the State Senate, where I've passed historic paid leave, gun safety, and nondiscrimination laws. I'm running for the House of Representatives, and if elected, I'd be the first openly transgender member of Congress. You know what that means: far-right extremists are lining up to attack me already. I'll tell you more about my goals and my accomplishments in just a second, but first I'm going to ask for your help in standing up to their hatred. Will you join me in standing against injustice in all its forms — whether it's anti-LGBTQ rhetoric, attacks on reproductive rights, or an American Dream that's slipping away from working people? There are real issues we need to address for the people of Delaware, and we don't have time for these nonsense attacks. My goal in the State Senate has been to pass bill after bill that improves the lives of workers, families, and kids. In my first term, I passed the landmark Healthy Delaware Families Act, providing paid family and medical leave to workers throughout the First State — marking the largest expansion of Delaware's social safety net in decades. Now I'm running for Congress to fight for the people who aren't seen — the people who don't shout the loudest and don't have an army of lobbyists at their disposal. I've taken on some powerful special interests — and won. Sometimes that makes me a target of their attacks. But I'll keep fighting for Delaware and its communities no matter what. Join our team today by adding your name. Together we can make history. Thank you for your time, Sarah McBride |
