This month has been difficult for all of us, and I hope you’re taking the time to care for yourself and your loved ones. As new crises emerge and intensify around the world, Save the Children teams are now actively responding to several emergencies threatening children – on top of our lifesaving work to address the climate crisis, global hunger, poverty and inequality.
These are just a few places where your donation can make a critical difference for children:
From the Middle East to Ukraine, children are paying the heaviest price as intense violence continues. Children don’t have the basics they need to survive. In some regions, there’s no electricity or fuel, leaving hospitals unable to operate and thousands of lives at risk – including premature babies who rely on electricity-powered incubators to keep them alive.
In Mexico, Hurricane Otis intensified rapidly without warning, striking the state of Guerrero as a Category 5 storm – the strongest ever to hit this region. More than 1 million people are without power, and children and families in the most remote communities are cut off from critical resources.
In Afghanistan, multiple earthquakes have worsened a desperate situation. Families already struggling with an economic crisis and food insecurity are now without shelter as winter approaches.
In moments of crisis and always, thank you for all you do to make our world a better, safer place for children.

To unlock this match and help us reach our goal, please click the donation link in this email. All donations will be matched 2x, up to $20 million, or until midnight on Dec. 31, 2023. Monthly gifts will be matched for the first monthly installment only.
