First, he insisted there was no need to take action to protect Mueller. 2. Then, he cheered Trump on when he fired key officials working on the Russia probe, like James Comey and Andrew McCabe. 3. And now, he just tried to block a Senate bill that would safeguard Mueller from firing!   If Trump fires Mueller, we have Mitch McConnell to blame.   We think Congress should OFFICIALLY protect Mueller.
