But the results from Montana also give us hope going forward. This Montana race shows that Democrats are extremely energized. Donald Trump won Montana by more than 2O points. But Republicans only won the special election by 6. It should have NEVER been that close. According to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight, this spells major trouble for Republicans in their efforts to keep the House. (And it means we have a real chance to elect Jon Ossoff next month in Georgia!) The fact that we can compete in deep-red districts like these is a testament to the incredible support from grassroots Democrats like you. Republicans are TERRIFIED of what lies ahead -- and we’re more motivated than ever. If we keep this kind of progress going, just think what we’ll be able to do in 2O18!
