I need to pull back the curtain and explain where things stand right now:

Donald Trump and MAGA House Republicans are marching the American economy toward a total government shutdown.

I need to pull back the curtain and explain where things stand right now:

FIRST: Trump commanded Republicans to refuse bipartisan meetings.

THEN: House Republicans canceled all votes until after the government shuts down.

NOW: Trump is so afraid of us taking the fight directly to the Oval Office that he's canceled a meeting with Senator Schumer and me.

My message to him is clear: You can run, but we will not let you hide from the fact that you are trying to shut the government down and gut American healthcare.

Everyone is watching to see how Democrats will respond. That's why I'm reaching out: Republicans think they can lie and cheat their way to another term in power so they can finally destroy the Affordable Care Act and privatize Medicare. We must take back the House next November. I'm calling on 29,373 Democrats to chip in $3 to the DCCC so we can rush resources to our most critical races and prove we have what it takes to win. Can I count on you to step up before the end-of-quarter deadline?
