RSVP for next week's phone bank on Monday to push Republicans to extend the ACA subsidies. Dear MoveOn member, Millions of Americans are facing a devastating health care cliff. In just a few months, expanded subsidies under Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), are set to expire.1 And if these subsidies lapse, premiums for ACA marketplace coverage will likely increase by hundreds of dollars, and millions could lose coverage altogether because they won't be able to afford it.2 Trump and Republicans have already cut millions of dollars in funding for Medicaid—and the longer Congress waits, the harder it will be for Americans to receive health care and stop this widespread health care crisis before it's too late. That's why we're hosting a phone bank on Monday, September 22, to connect volunteers (like you!) to other MoveOn members in key Republican states. We will connect them to their reps in Congress to pressure them to extend these subsidies.
